I'm Amy Raeleen Gibe, the creator and founder behind Star Fairy. My journey began in childhood, witnessing the harsh effects of pharmaceuticals on loved ones battling cancer and chronic illness. From a young age, I felt deeply drawn to the healing energy of Mother Nature. Flowers and plants fascinated me—not just for their beauty, but for their power. I began photographing them, reading about their properties, and eventually studying herbalism more seriously.
As I grew older, my passion became a mission: to create homemade, plant-based remedies that could truly help people. What began as a curiosity turned into an obsession. I read every book and article I could find, learning the rich history of herbalism and the ways herbs have supported human health for centuries.
Eventually, I began collecting herbs and flowers, building my own apothecary. I started crafting my own tea blends and elixirs—like the blend I created for my monthly moon with rose, hibiscus, and ginger to ease menstrual cramps, or calming aromatherapy salves to soothe my nerves.
By day, I worked full-time; by night, I poured my heart into formulating teas. While working at Watson’s Organic Market & Cafe in my hometown, I helped customers discover supplements and holistic alternatives. That experience inspired me to refine my blends, crafting teas with specific health benefits. My first and most beloved blend, Calm Your Nervine, quickly became a customer favorite. Watson’s now features my tea in their Tea Corner, where visitors can sip a cup of Calm Your Nervine in the garden.
Driven by passion and purpose, I created three more blends to support wellness through every season:
Clear Lung – for respiratory support and lung detox
Spooky Spice – a warming,
Fall cozy blend for immunity and antioxidants.
Solstice Sol – bright and healing for the season of winter months for grounding and immunity.
I’m currently studying herbalism and on the path to becoming a certified herbalist.
